ESPON approves 14 new Projects and 10 Expressions of Interest

The 4th Call for Proposals and Expression of Interest was opened from 16 September till 11 November 2009. In total 69 applications were received out of which 14 projects and 10 expressions of interest were approved by the Monitoring Committee of the Programme.

8 Expressions of Interest formed the basis for elaborating project specifications to be included in the Call for Proposals for Targeted Analyses on 3 May 2010; the remaining 2 Expressions of Interest will form the basis for elaborating project specifications to be included in the Call for Proposals for Targeted Analyses in August 2010.

Following the Monitoring Committee decision on the best proposals, 2 applicants submitted an appeal. The ESPON 2013 Programme gives this possibility in accordance with the Programme Manual, chapter 8.12. The decision of the Monitoring Committee following those requests and the relevant follow-up is available below.
