Calls for Proposals 24 August 2010
Latest ESPON Calls attracted 5 proposals and 27 partners from 12 countries
04-11-2010 ESPON closed its 6th Calls for Proposals on 19 October 2010 with 5 applications. The project proposals involve 12 European countries and 27 partners. All the project themes in the Calls received proposals.
The distribution by the Priorities of the ESPON 2013 Programme was as follow: 4 proposals for Targeted Analyses under Priority 2 and 1 proposal within the ESPON Scientific Platform under Priority 3.
Of the applicants, 19% came from France, 15% Italy, 11% from Finland and Spain, 7% from Germany, Greece, Switzerland and the UK, 4% from Belgium, Ireland, Norway and Romania.
The participation rate of Private Institutions has in these Calls reached 33%. As the analysis of the legal status of applicants shows, the participation rate of Public Institutions is 52% and for Institutions governed by public law 15%.
Evaluation of the 5 project proposals will run during November- December 2010 and the results will be tabled for the Monitoring Committee meeting in January 2011.
