Call for Tenders ESPON Update of Maps (2011-2014) – Filling in Data Gaps in the ESPON Database

The main purpose of this call for tender called “ESPON Update of Maps (2011-2014) – Filling in Data Gaps in the ESPON Database” is to conclude a service contract that shall support the Scientific Platform and Tools under Priority 3, foreseen in the framework of the ESPON 2013 Programme.

The main objective of this call for tender is to carry out a service contract for collecting count data and metadata, building up time series and filling in existing data gaps, related to the ESPON Database, on (1) population data, (2) employment by age group and gender and (3) employment by economic sector. This update is part of a long-term strategy for keeping the ESPON Database up-to-date and useful in the context of European territorial analyses.

This call for tender aims at selecting a service provider able to perform the service contract which will contribute to increase the general knowledge on the current state of population development, the labour market and the economic structure in Europe and its regions and therefore provide updated and more extensive evidence in the field of territorial development.

The services requested are further explained in the technical and administrative terms and conditions.

Budget

The maximum available budget for this contract is € 75.000,00 inclusive of all taxes (incl. any VAT related to this contract) travels and accommodations and if applicable, delivery costs.
