From across the Europe different regions and stakeholders ask Brussels to design tailor made legislation and avoid the one size fits all approach in order for Europe to achieve the goal of territorial cohesion and the EU legislation to be more relevant for people in different parts of the European Union. Territorial Impact Assessment (TIA) can help to estimate the effects of European policies and legislation on cities and different types of European regions so that these can be considered, mitigated or maybe even prevented. Come to discuss how the different realities of cities, urban and rural areas, the outermost regions, crossborder areas, mountains, islands, across Europe can be considered.
