Call for Tenders for the Applied Research “Sustainable land-use”

The service contract resulting from this call for tenders called “Sustainable land-use” shall contribute to further developing and improving the ESPON knowledge base. In that sense, it will also contribute to enhancing the European territorial evidence production through applied research and analysis in the framework of the Single Operation under the ESPON 2020 Cooperation Programme.

The service shall provide evidence, recommendations and measures on how sustainable land use can be promoted and how land-take and urban sprawl can be avoided, reduced and compensated in Europe, its cities and regions.

The main outcome should be knowledge and evidence about the main effects, challenges, achievements and development trends of European regions and cities in relation to land-use patterns, land-take, urban sprawl and sustainable land use and guidance for local, regional and national level policy makers to promote the sustainable use of land.More details are available in the tendering documents.

Budget

The maximum available budget for this contract is EUR 750,000.00 exclusive of VAT but inclusive of all other taxes, disbursements, travel, accommodation and delivery costs.

Tenders must be submitted in one original and one copy in English language at the latest by 06 August 2018 at 15:00 (CET - Central European Time).
