ESPON published its Project Overview which presents the ongoing projects by October 2010. The Overview presents for each priority of the Programme some key facts on ongoing projects as well as a glimpse of our intentions in the near future.
ESPON closed its 6th Calls for Proposals on 19 October 2010 with 5 applications. The project proposals involve 12 European countries and 27 partners. All the project themes in the Calls received proposals.

The Monitoring Committee at its meeting on 30 September 2010 has decided to open a new Call for Expression of Interest for becoming part of the pool of experts in the ESPON Knowledge Support System. The formal pre-announcement will be published at the Official Journal of the EU as well as at the ESPON Website in 2-3 weeks.
