TPM Final Workshop
Workshop "Territorial Performance Monitoring". Brussels, 29 June 2012
The Territorial Performance Monitoring (TPM) project focuses on European and global challenges with specific regional consequences: climate change, energy supply, demographic development and globalisation. The aim is to establish knowledge on how territorial impacts of these macro challenges translate at the regional level, how regions fare in comparative benchmarking within the European context, and how to deal with these challenges effectively. The project thus provides analytical support for strategy building and encourages regions to share experiences and to exchange best practices that could be used to improve the effectiveness of the implementation of their territorial strategies.
The stakeholder regions lead by Flanders and the scientific team lead by the IGEAT-ULB are pleased to invite to the final workshop of the ESPON Project TPM.
Representatives of the five stakeholders and case study regions actively involved in the entire process will be at the workshop in order to present their experiences: Catalonia, Flanders, Greater Dublin Area, Navarre and North Rhine-Westphalia.
The event aims at discussing the final results and evidence from the project and supporting further exchange of best practice between interested regions.
Please find below the programme of the event. Registration by email, stating name and institution, to Moritz Lennert at the IGEAT (moritz.lennert@ulb.ac.be). Deadline for registration: 20 June 2012.
