The ESPON activity “SDG localising tool” resulting from this call for tenders is assigned to Specific Objective 3 of the ESPON 2020 Cooperation Programme1. As such, it shall contribute to monitoring European territorial dynamics and further developing and improving an interactive and user-friendly ESPON Toolbox2.

The service shall contribute to supporting local and regional governments to play their role in localising the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The main outcome should be:

1) a simple, intuitive and user-friendly web application that can be used by governments at all levels to identify regions that are leading and lagging in the implementation of the SDGs and to find peers with similar profiles

2) guidance on how to use the SDG localising tool with practical examples and

3) guidance on how to maintain the tool

Budget

The maximum available budget for this contract is EUR 120,000.00 (one hundred twenty thousand Euros), exclusive of VAT but inclusive of all other taxes, disbursements, travel, accommodation, and delivery costs.
